Bloom Routine

First week back teaching Nia last week at Dee Why Surf Life Saving Club and we started with the routine BLOOM and what a beautiful routine to begin with!

Although it’s almost the end of the year 2022, for me it is a time to bring to life our dreams and wishes for this world and for the community around us. It’s a time to let go of any seeds that we’ve been holding onto that no longer serve us. We have been going through such an internal process throughout the last few years and I had such an impulse to get out of my shell again and start connecting with others and remind ourselves of the importance of trusting your bodies wisdom and natural ability to heal itself. Movement is such beautiful medicine and giving yourself the space and time to sense your body and allow for it to just be, can be so rewarding on many levels and layers. To listen to what our body is telling us works wonders.

As I step into teaching the BLOOM routine, I get such a heartfelt experience that allows me to ignite my soul again and gives me a big smile to let my body feel again, to nurture it, to sense how it feels, to bring myself back into alignment with who I am, to sense the space and environment around me and how I can contribute and support others. It takes trust to be seen again and as I walk on the journey again to guide others to feel better in their body, mind, emotions and soul, I sense in my existence it is what I’m here to do and hope it can bring others to feel the same and in their own way too. What I love about Nia is that it combines so many elements together in a routine and invites for a conscious dance to build a relationship with your body and to experience its full potential in this life we have today.
