“Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and a talk beside the fire: it is time for home” – Edith Sitwell
How beautiful is this quote – to remind yourselves of how it’s important to return home, to speak your heart, to your truth, to your body, to another, doing what serves and nourishes your body, emotions, mind and spirit.

I’ve returned from a beautiful weekend away in nature, down the south coast in Bermagui and Wallaga Lake, NSW. The energy of Murunna – Camel Rock & Horse Head Rock was powerful. We did an early sunrise shoot, so having to trek amongst the rocks in the dark to get the first sunrise light amongst Horse Head Rock, was quite spectacular and an experience – with the cold came the warmth and appreciation for nature, earth, our Creator. The source and energy of the rocks really gave me a sense of peace and calm. So many beautiful rocks and shells, with gorgeous colours and textures. It really invites the thoughts of looking deep into the layers and beauty of life.

We encountered lots of Seals too. One in particular spent a few days on a ledge of a rock cliffside, enjoying the warmth of the sun and stroking its body/tail, as comfort, soothing itself in the winter breeze. I love watching animals. Pelicans on the Lakeside, gliding by, as it they have all the time in the world 😉

I also had a nice chat with a lovely local woman, who was looking after her son and partners shop – filled with beautiful products that are all to do with nature and being ethical – Thank you Mother. We had lots in common talking about life and our journey so far. I was in the shop for a good hour or so with her and we really gained some beautiful insights and wisdom shared. Isn’t it beautiful to take the time to share your thoughts and what makes your heart sing, what is worrying you, what are your needs etc. Our conversation of course led her to mentioning there was a Sunday Freedance class on, if I was free to come along – So how could I say no! I was there – and danced with a beautiful community of people I didn’t know but were so welcoming and openly available to send me off home with a full heart. I almost didn’t go, but after my talk with Gina at the shop, I felt a call to go – and so glad I did! Being open to what the universe has in store for you and embracing the exchange of worlds colliding. I truely felt spirit with me and exactly what my heart needed.

So I have returned, recharged for the winter, with lots of great offerings ahead – not only from me but the community around us.
Remember to take care of yourselves and listen to your needs this winter. I know it’s not always easy to keep movement going and perhaps hibernation is what you need. I know for certain, keeping the warmth in body, mind, spirit is important however you choose. Choice is always within and available. Listen to the voice of your body and move in the direction you wish for your frequency to be in. We are energy moving through life. Here to create the love and harmony in any way you wish.
